BY SCOTT BALMER
Inspired by fusing pinball with the airbrushed androids of the 80s. The concept takes inspiration from the artwork that adorn these pinball tables and simplifies it to it’s most essential elements. The robot element plays homage to the airbrushed and highly chrome illustrations of the 80s while also being placed in a barren desert to add contrast and to further add a more retro charm to the overall design.

I usually work digitally these days using a cintiq display and a mixture of illustrator, photoshop or Clip Studio Paint amongst other things.
I think nature does this the most since there are so many interesting and fantastical creatures, plants, forms which inhabit our surroundings.
I don't know, probably one that has enough restrictions to start a foundation but also allow the creative freedom to produce something which strikes a balance between the two.
