Richard Keeling

I'm a freelance designer, illustrator and art director usually based in London but often working remotely as I travel the world. I love working with interesting brands and have experience creating brand identities, campaign art direction and illustration. Past Clients include All Star Lanes, Die Zeit, American Express, Tishman Speyer, Brewhouse & Kitchen and more. Colour is my favourite. I also enjoy telling stories with my designs without the need to over complicate or overload my designs with unnecessary information.

Who or what inspires you the most? My friends and shadows.

What tools (digital or not!) do you use to create your work? Indesign. I know its weird.

What's your favourite resource for inspiration? Taking a walk.

Do you have any tips for artists thinking of doing freelance? Don’t worry about what you have to do. Just try, Theres always something else to try until it starts working. Just keep trying. Do it badly if needs be, at least that will get you to start without the pressure of nailing it 1st go.

What would your dream project be? An album cover.

How can fans keep up-to-date with your work? Instagram
